My name is Stuart McIntyre and I’ve been a wedding photographer for over a decade. The years of experience have given me the confidence to bring my own special touch and style to the way I shoot. I’ve perfected the art of getting great candid shots and finding the best light possible. This means getting the shot done and then moving on quickly – no one wants to pose around and linger longer than absolutely necessary as there is a party going on!

I have a good hunch of what things work and what doesn’t, but I always look for new and imaginative ways to capture one of the most important days of your life on camera. Being a good Scotsman, I am fascinated by this country, and finding unique corners to meet and photograph interesting people is what makes me love my job every day.

Photographing weddings is unlike anything else. You need to move quickly, capturing both the bigger picture and the smallest detail. Every photographer goes about this differently and has their style that’ll either match your taste and wishes or it won’t – there are no two ways about it.

I can produce a number of different types of images depending on the mood of the wedding, the personal tastes of the bride and groom, and the atmosphere of the venue. That’s why it’s very important to know exactly what kind of shots you want; check out my portfolio and pin down the most striking pictures that will give me a sense of the style that you’re going for.
